Privacy Policy
Effective September 9, 2026
Family Care Pro is designed to reduce caregiver stress without collecting more information than is needed. This policy explains the information collected through the public website, caregiver email updates, and the invitation-only beta.
Information we collect
Public analytics
If you allow anonymous analytics, we record approved page and organizer actions, the public page path, campaign tags, and the referring website hostname. Analytics events do not store your IP address, user account, browser user agent, organizer entries, or a persistent visitor identifier.
Essential cookies, browser storage, and server logs
We use cookies needed for sign-in, sessions, and form security. Your analytics preference is saved in your browser's local storage. Declining optional analytics does not disable these essential functions. Hosting and security logs may contain IP addresses, request details, and browser information separately from the anonymous marketing events described above.
The free caregiver organizer
Organizer entries stay in the open page and are not submitted to Family Care Pro. The organizer does not automatically save your entries; closing or reloading the page may lose them. Printing or saving as PDF creates a copy that you control. Protect saved and printed copies and share them only with people you trust.
Caregiver email updates
Caregiver email signup and the automated series are currently unavailable while beta testing continues. The following describes how subscriptions work when they are available.
If you request caregiver updates, we collect your email address, confirmation and consent timestamps, the signup location, the privacy and consent versions you accepted, campaign attribution, subscription status, and nurture-series progress. We store your request as pending and send a confirmation email. The caregiver series begins only after you confirm.
Invitation-only beta
The beta collects account and application information needed to provide the service, enforce care-team access, support testing, and protect the application. This includes your name, email address, password stored as a hash, invitations, care-team roles, test entries and uploads, activity records, and feedback you submit. Authorized care-team members can see test information according to their roles; beta coordinators can review submitted feedback. The current closed beta permits fictional care information only.
How we use information
We use information to operate and secure Family Care Pro, deliver requested emails, measure whether public resources are helpful, support beta participants, troubleshoot problems, and improve the product. We do not sell personal information or use public analytics for cross-site behavioral advertising.
Service providers and disclosure
Limited information may be processed by providers that host the application, deliver email, operate encrypted backups, or support security and reliability. They receive only what is needed to perform those services. We may also disclose information when required by law or necessary to protect users, the service, or others.
Retention
Anonymous marketing events are retained for 365 days. Unconfirmed email requests become eligible for daily cleanup after 30 days, once their current confirmation link has expired. Confirmed subscription information is retained while you subscribe. After you unsubscribe, we retain the address and opt-out status as a suppression record so future marketing email is not sent accidentally.
Removing a care item may retain an audit record rather than immediately erase it. Account deletion does not necessarily remove shared test records, security logs, or backup copies immediately. Beta participants can ask their coordinator about retained information and deletion requests.
Your choices
You can decline or reopen public analytics choices from the website footer. Every caregiver update includes an unsubscribe option that does not require an account. You may also request access to or correction of your subscriber information by contacting us.
Browser privacy signals
Family Care Pro does not use public analytics until you explicitly allow it and does not use third-party behavioral advertising trackers. Because analytics are consent-based, the public site does not separately respond to browser Do Not Track signals.
Security and children
We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards appropriate to the information we maintain. No online system can guarantee absolute security. Family Care Pro is intended for adults coordinating family care and is not directed to children under 13.
Policy changes
We will update the effective date when this policy changes. Material changes affecting email subscribers will be communicated through an appropriate notice.
Contact
Beta participants can send privacy questions or requests to the coordinator who invited them, or use Send Feedback in the application. A public privacy contact will be published before email signup opens.
